Agricultural Chemistry

This PhD program is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of agricultural, food, and environmental chemistry. The curriculum mostly emphasizes on Analytical Techniques, covering application of contemporary and development of novel techniques for the determination of natural compounds, nutrients, and contaminants in biological materials as well on quality assurance of analyses, and on Biological Processes covering transformations and processes in biological materials focusing on primary compounds such as enzymes, vitamins, antioxidants, and metabolites.

Graduate profile

Graduates from the Agricultural Chemistry PhD program will possess: Comprehensive Knowledge in-depth understanding of fast developing chemistry fields, Advanced Analytical Skills using contemporary and novel analytical techniques for different matrices, and Biological Insight to profound knowledge of the biochemical processes focusing on key compounds. Graduates can pursue various career paths, including universities, research institutes, innovation groups in industries, and public sector.
